Kamenoko Tawashi White Sisal Scrub Brush

This tawashi scrub brush is made from soft sisal fiber, giving it a gentle feel that is comfortable to hold while still cleaning effectively. The firm fiber reaches into the corners of pots and pans and is best suited to wiping away residue rather than scraping it off.

Sisal fiber naturally resists oil and dirt, so light grease can often be cleaned off without soap, and foods like curry or ketchup sauce are less likely to stain the fibers. It also works well as a pre soak scrub for PTFE pans or other cookware with heavy oil residue.

This brush is made by Kamenoko Tawashi (Nishio Shoten) in Japan and is offered in Small and Large sizes.
