Kanoh Gentle Colors Kids Soup Bowl 250ml Walnut

Please note: The photo shows all seven colors together. This listing is for the walnut brown kids soup bowl only.

These Kanoh children's miso soup bowls, one in Lapis Blue and one in Walnut Brown, have a resin surface made to look and feel like natural wood grain. They are light, resist breaking, and stay cooler to the touch than ceramic bowls.

The surface is finished using Yamanaka-nuri, a traditional lacquering technique from the Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga, Ishikawa. The gentle coloring brings a soft, old-fashioned Japanese feel to the table, and the bowls drain quickly and dry fast after washing.

Sized to fit comfortably in two cupped hands, they work well for hot miso soup, other soups, and New Year ozoni. Their rounded shape also lets the bowls stack neatly on top of each other, saving space in the cupboard.
