This soup bowl is part of Kanoh's Wa no Iro series, made in Japan with a resin surface finished to resemble natural wood grain. It is lighter and more resistant to chipping than ceramic, and it does not get as hot to the touch as ceramic ware can.
The bowl drains well and dries quickly after washing, and it can go in both the microwave and the dishwasher, making daily cleanup faster.
Sized to rest comfortably in both hands, it fits easily into everyday table settings, and bowls of this design can be nested together when stored, taking up less space in the cupboard.
This bowl is available in five colors: Jet Black, Flax, Ancient Vermilion, Lapis Blue, and Ecru.
