Kanoh Yasashii Irodori Rice Bowl Ruri Blue x Lemon Yellow

The Kano Yasashii Irodori donburi bowl has a resin surface finished to look like natural wood grain, using the traditional Yamanaka-nuri lacquering technique from the Kaga, Ishikawa region. The soft Ruri (indigo blue) and Remon (lemon yellow) coloring gives it a gentle, nostalgic feel.

The resin construction is lightweight and resistant to chipping, and it stays cooler to the touch than a ceramic bowl of the same size. Water drains off the surface quickly after washing, so it dries fast.

Sized to sit comfortably in both hands at 13.5 x 13.5 x 8 cm (5.3 x 5.3 x 3.1 in), the bowl is also designed to nest with others in the line for compact, stacked storage in the cupboard.
