This spin wheel colander and bowl from Kokubo is a two-piece water-draining bowl for washing vegetables, rinsing rice, and draining noodles. The colander's wheels snap into indentations inside the bowl to lock the two pieces together, and the colander spins inside the bowl so that tilting it drains the water, without needing a separate salad spinner. To take it apart, line up the finger guides, lift off the wheels, and pull the bowl and colander apart.
Made of polypropylene that is heat resistant to about 120°C, it measures 21.9 x 21.5 x 11.6 cm (8.6 x 8.5 x 4.6 in), weighs 181 g (6.4 oz / 0.40 lb), and holds about 2 L (2.1 qt) in the bowl. This small size comes in green and is made in Japan.
