This Kyocera santoku knife from the Colorful Kitchen series is made with a fine ceramic blade designed to hold its edge through extended use. It is suited to cutting meat, fish, and vegetables, with a smooth, comfortable cutting feel.

Because the blade is ceramic rather than metal, the knife is noticeably light, weighing about half as much as a comparable metal knife. It is dishwasher safe for convenient cleanup.
