This Kyocera ceramic knife is part of the Colorful Kitchen series and is designed to hold a smooth, long lasting cutting edge. It is well suited for preparing fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish, gliding through food with a clean, comfortable feel.

Because ceramic is lighter than steel, the blade weighs about half as much as a comparable metal knife, making it easy to handle during everyday prep. The knife is dishwasher safe for convenient cleanup.

The handle is made with a sugarcane derived polyethylene, which reduces the amount of petroleum based plastic used in the knife.
