This forged-style pan from Living is made of aluminum alloy with a diamond-infused resin coating on the interior for a smooth, nonstick-style cooking surface. The sides of the exterior are shaved down to reduce weight, making the pan easier to lift and maneuver than a traditional cast pan.
The rim has a raised lip, which makes it easier to pour out liquids like sauces or soup without dripping down the outside of the pan. The interior coating is rated to withstand metal spatula use up to 500,000 times, so there is no need to switch to silicone or wooden tools.
This pan is offered in an egg pan and a deep frying pan, plus frying pans in three round sizes, so you can pick the shape and size that fits your cooking style.
