Marna Frozen Rice Container Large Pack of 2

This two-pack of frozen rice containers is designed to keep cooked rice tasting good after freezing and reheating in the microwave with the lid left on. A mesh tray in the bottom lets excess moisture drain away, helping prevent sogginess, and the tray lifts out for washing.

To use: fill with freshly cooked, gently loosened rice, close the lid, let it cool, then freeze. Reheat with the lid on in the microwave; a large portion of about 250 g (8.82 oz) takes roughly 4 minutes 30 seconds at 500 watts. Freeze the rice while still fresh rather than after long warming, and avoid overheating.

Each container holds about 390 ml (13.2 fl oz) of freshly cooked rice, enough for one large serving, and the two-pack measures about 16.5 x 9.2 x 11.5 cm (6.5 x 3.6 x 4.5 in). The containers also work as a small steamer for items such as dumplings or vegetables. They are dishwasher safe, microwave safe with the lid on, and made in Japan.
