The case is made of polystyrene, the lid, leveling scraper, spoon and button are made of ABS resin, and the gasket is silicone. The case is heat resistant to about 70 degrees Celsius, the ABS parts to about 80 degrees Celsius, and the silicone gasket to about 200 degrees Celsius; all parts tolerate cold down to about 0 degrees Celsius.

A leveling scraper and spoon are included for measuring seasonings. The case, lid, scraper, spoon and button are made in Japan, and the silicone gasket is made in China.
