Minex Metal Universal Steamer Insert Wide V-1031

This expandable steamer insert turns an ordinary pot into a steamer, so you do not need a dedicated steaming pot for steamed dishes. Its hinged arms open to fit pots of different sizes, adjusting from about 21 to 30 cm (8.3 to 11.8 in) in diameter, and a removable ring lets you lift out cooked food without losing its shape.

Made of stainless steel, which will not retain odors from previous use, the insert stands 8.6 cm (3.4 in) tall and weighs 320 g (11.3 oz). It is made in Japan by Minex Metal.
