These Oshibasami kitchen scissors are designed to cut by pushing, which supports your grip strength rather than straining it. They handle cutting crab, preparing fish, and cutting meat on the bone, so many of the tougher jobs you would normally use kitchen scissors for can be done with less effort. The curved blades hold the food in place as you cut for a cleaner result.
The scissors can stand on their side for draining after washing and for storage. Please take care that they do not fall over while standing.
Everything from the blades to the resin grip and packaging is made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan. The blade alignment is done by hand, one pair at a time, by skilled craftsmen rather than by machine.
