This pot from Pearl Metal's Cook Palace series is made to work on gas, induction (IH), halogen heaters, and other common heat sources.
The body is stainless steel with an aluminum layer sandwiched between stainless steel at the bottom, which helps the pot heat evenly, resist scorching, and hold warmth well after cooking. The handles attach with a wire fitting designed to reduce heat transfer from the pot into the grip. The handle and lid knob are made of phenolic resin, heat resistant to 150°C (302°F), with a nylon knob base plate heat resistant to 180°C (356°F).
