The bottom has a thick three-layer construction with aluminum sandwiched between stainless steel for even heat conduction, which helps resist scorching and holds heat well. The handle is attached with a wire fitting that keeps heat from transferring into the grip.
The body is stainless steel with a matching stainless steel lid. The handle and lid knob are made of heat-resistant phenolic resin (rated to 150°C), with a heat-resistant nylon knob base (rated to 180°C). Made in China.
