This double-wall carafe is designed to stay cool at the table without the condensation and dripping common to single-wall water jugs. The air gap between its inner and outer walls keeps chilled water cold while keeping the outside of the carafe dry.
The rounded bottom makes it easy to wash, and because the carafe has no rubber gasket, there is no hard-to-clean part to remove and dry separately. It is also sized to fit in a refrigerator door shelf.
Made in Japan from AS resin and ABS resin in brown, it measures about 27 x 13.8 x 10 cm (10.6 x 5.4 x 3.9 in), weighs about 520 g (18.3 oz), and holds 1 liter (1.1 qt).
