This plastic pickling tub from Lis is designed for making tsukemono, Japanese-style salt-pickled vegetables, at home. It comes with a matching pressing lid that sits inside the tub and presses down on the vegetables as they pickle, helping the brine draw out evenly from top to bottom.

This model holds about 5 L (5.3 qt) and weighs about 379 g (13.4 oz / 0.84 lb), giving plenty of room for pickling vegetables at home. It is made in Japan.
