Size

This pressing lid, or oshibuta, is made by Risu for use inside a pickling tub. It rests directly on top of vegetables or other ingredients, spreading pressure evenly across the surface as they release liquid during pickling.

The lid is made of plastic and manufactured in China.

This pressing lid is offered in sizes from 5 L (5.3 qt) up to 80 L (84.5 qt), so you can match the lid to the tub you use for pickling. A weight stone is typically placed on top of the lid to add further pressure.
