Risu Pickle Weight Stone 5kg

This is a pickle weight stone from Risu, made for home pickling. It is placed on top of vegetables, or on a pressing lid inside a pickling tub, to apply steady and even pressure as the ingredients release liquid and take on flavor.

This stone weighs 5 kg (11.02 lb) and measures 212 x 94 mm (8.3 x 3.7 in). It is made of plastic and concrete for a stable, solid weight that will not shift while pickling.

Risu offers this weight stone in several sizes, from 1.5 kg (3.31 lb) up to 10 kg (22.05 lb), so you can choose the amount of pressure that suits your pickling tub and the volume of vegetables. This item is manufactured in China.
