This curry spoon from Sansho's Currysaji line is made of 18-10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish. The bowl of the spoon is cut on a diagonal so it fits the curve of a plate, making it easy to scoop food cleanly down to the last bite, and the thin edge of the bowl helps cut through food and feels pleasant against the mouth.
18-10 stainless steel resists rust and is non-magnetic, so it does not pick up iron filings or sand and wipes clean easily, which makes it a practical choice for outdoor use. The thin tip of the handle also works as a pull-tab opener for canned drinks, letting you open tabs with less force and without hurting your fingers or nails.
