This one-plate spoon from Sansho's Currysaji line is made of 18-10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish. Its tip is split like a fork, so the same utensil works as both a spoon and a fork, and the fork tips are rounded for safety. The bowl is cut on a diagonal so it fits the curve of a plate, making it easy to scoop food cleanly down to the last bite.
18-10 stainless steel resists rust and is non-magnetic, so it does not pick up iron filings or sand and wipes clean easily, which makes it a practical choice for outdoor use. The thin tip of the handle also works as a pull-tab opener for canned drinks, letting you open tabs with less force and without hurting your fingers or nails.
This spoon measures about 185 mm long (7.3 in) and weighs about 38 g (1.3 oz / 0.08 lb). The handle carries the Currysaji logo engraving, and the spoon comes in a clear case.
