This pour over coffee dripper is made by Sanyo Sangyo, maker of the CAFEC brand, and is molded from heat resistant AS resin. It is made in Japan.
Sanyo Sangyo's AS resin drippers use a different number of outlet holes depending on size, so the brewing time stays about the same across sizes. Keeping the extraction speed even helps produce a consistent taste. Sanyo Sangyo offers coffee equipment under the CAFEC brand in Japan and in 80 countries overseas.
To use it, fold the filter seams in opposite directions and fit the filter snugly in the dripper. Use about 10 g (0.4 oz) of grounds per cup. Pour a little boiling water evenly over the grounds and let them bloom for about 30 seconds, then pour the rest of the water a bit more briskly in 3 to 4 additions, covering all the grounds.
