We offer this replacement lid made by Shimizu Mokuzai for a sushi rice tub, also called a hangiri, handai or meshikiri. It is crafted from Kiso sawara cypress.

The lid is sized for a 60 cm (23.6 in) sushi tub, the traditional 2 shaku size. It is left as plain natural wood with no coating.

This lid is made in Japan. It is sold on its own, and the tub is not included.
