Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Adjustable Thickness Mandoline Slicer AAS-706

This adjustable thickness slicer is part of Shimomura Kogyo's Ajiwai Shokubo series, a line of basic kitchen tools and handy gadgets for everyday meal prep, cooking, and cleanup.

A dial on the underside switches between three slicing thicknesses, about 1 mm, 1.5 mm (0.1 in), and 2 mm (0.1 in), so you can slice ingredients to match the dish you are making. A holder guards your hand from the blade, so you can slice food safely and with little waste, right down to the last piece.

The slicer is made in Japan.
