Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo All Stainless Kitchen Scissors Detachable ASK-405

These kitchen scissors are part of Shimomura Kogyo's Ajiwai Shokubo line of everyday kitchen tools. They are made from a single piece of stainless steel with no seam between the blades and the handle, so they can be washed all over, including by boiling them.

The serrated blades grip food firmly for a clean cut without slipping, and beyond food they also cut through retort pouches and food trays. Built-in features let the scissors also work as a bottle opener, a can lid opener, and a nutcracker, and the blades separate apart for easy cleaning in hard-to-reach spots.

They measure about 22.7 x 9.5 x 2.2 cm (8.9 x 3.7 x 0.9 in) and weigh about 135 g (4.8 oz).
