Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Easy Chestnut Peeler ARK-682

This dedicated cutter makes peeling chestnuts easy, removing both the hard outer shell and the inner skin in one motion. A thumb hook on the handle gives you a secure grip, so you can apply pressure without tiring your hand.

A lock feature holds the peeler closed for storage, and a cap covers the blade so it will not nick your fingers while put away.

Made in Japan, the peeler measures 18.5 x 6 x 3.5 cm (7.3 x 2.4 x 1.4 in) and weighs about 60 g (2.1 oz / 0.13 lb). The blade is stainless steel, the body is ABS resin, and the cap is polypropylene.
