Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Jar Lid Opener ABO-666

This jar lid opener belongs to Shimomura's Ajiwai Shokubo series of everyday kitchen tools, designed with the user in mind for prep, cooking and cleanup.

It opens tight lids, such as on jam jars, with little effort. The fan-shaped design means you simply slide the lid into the opening until it fits snugly, so it handles lids of about 3 to 7 cm (1.2 to 2.8 in) in diameter. It is also handy for opening plastic bottle caps.

The body is ABS resin with a rubber grip. It measures 14.5 x 8.9 x 1.8 cm (5.7 x 3.5 x 0.7 in) and weighs 73 g (2.6 oz / 0.16 lb). Made in Japan.
