This sharpener from Shimomura Kogyo has a triple design for double-edged knives, single-edged knives, and scissors. Its ceramic whetstone brings back a sharp edge, and sharpening is as simple as passing the blade back and forth through the slot.
The handle is shaped to fit the hand and is designed to keep your fingers clear of the blade as you sharpen. A rubber base on the bottom keeps the sharpener steady while in use. Note that it is designed for stainless steel knives only.
