This slicer from the Ajiwai Shokubo series makes quick work of cutting daikon radish, carrot, cucumber, and other vegetables into fine strips for salads, garnishes, and dishes such as kinpira.
The blade is made of titanium, which is light in weight and resistant to rust, while the body is polypropylene.
It is dishwasher safe and made in Japan.
Choose between a fine julienne and tsuma style slicer with two cutting sides, or a thick julienne (shirishiri) style slicer.
