This grater from Shimomura's Fruvege series of task-specific kitchen tools gives you three types of grating on one board.
The front side is a coarse oni-oroshi grater that produces chunky grated daikon radish with the vegetable's natural texture. The reverse side grates the fibers finely for a smooth result. A small condiment grater section is also included for ginger, garlic and similar ingredients.
The grater is made of acrylic resin, measures 24.8 x 8.7 x 1.5 cm (9.8 x 3.4 x 0.6 in) and weighs 87 g (3.1 oz). Made in Japan.
