Shimomura Full Vege Ginkgo Nut Cracker

The Full Vege Ginkgo Nut Cracker makes it easy to crack open the hard shell of ginkgo nuts. Simply place a nut between the jaws and squeeze the handle. The handle shape is easy to grip, and together with a built-in spring it cracks the shell with just enough force to open it without crushing the nut inside, and without scattering shell pieces.

It measures about 29 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm (11.4 x 2.6 x 2.6 in) and weighs about 53 g (1.9 oz). The handle is ABS resin, and the cutting parts are stainless cutlery steel and 18-8 stainless steel. It is made in Japan.
