Shimomura Full Veggie Grater and Shirishiri Carrot Julienne Slicer FV-679

The Full Veggie grater and shirishiri slicer is a double-sided kitchen tool designed to simplify a specific prep step. One side cuts thick julienne strips, slicing across the fiber of the vegetable so the cut edges come out jagged, which helps the strips take on seasoning well. This side is meant for shirishiri-style dishes and for shaving vegetables into thin strips.

The other side is a grater with a stainless steel blade that cuts through the fiber of the vegetable for a smooth, fine result, suited to grating daikon radish, carrot, or mountain yam.
