This mini kakiage tempura frying ring from Shimomura Kogyo's Pro Grade line helps you fry kakiage that is thick and evenly round, the way it is served at a soba noodle shop. Simply stand the ring in a pot of hot oil and add the kakiage batter and ingredients.
The ring keeps the ingredients from spreading out, so the kakiage holds its shape and fries up thick and fluffy, while holes along the side let oil circulate evenly for a crisp texture.
