The Shimomura ProGrade Sharp Julienne Slicer is designed for shaving vegetables such as burdock root and preparing kinpira style dishes with clean, even julienne strips.
Each blade edge is finished using an etching process that thins and sharpens the tip, so you can cut strips with light pressure rather than a strong chopping motion.
The handle has a curved, arched shape that is easy to grip firmly, reducing strain on the wrist during use. The slicer is dishwasher safe and made in Japan.
