The Verdun Black julienne and peeler from Shimomura Kogyo is a 2 in 1 tool that cuts both julienne strips and wide ribbon slices with a single blade. The julienne blade uses sharp comb style teeth that cut with light effort, making it convenient for shredding vegetables for salads and other dishes.
The handle is made of heat resistant resin and the set is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. It is part of the Verdun Black series, a line of kitchen tools finished in a coordinated black design. The tool measures about 19 x 8 x 3 cm (7.5 x 3.1 x 1.2 in) and weighs about 71 g (2.5 oz).
