This copper grater is made by a craftsman who raises each tooth individually with a hammer and chisel, rather than stamping them by machine. This traditional technique gives the grating surface excellent sharpness, and the teeth are arranged so you can grate efficiently in any direction with little effort.
As you grate, the food passes through into a removable stainless steel bowl below, so you can bring the contents straight to the table without transferring them to another container. The bowl can also be used on its own as a mixing bowl or serving dish.
Made in Japan by Shinko Kinzoku. Available in two sizes.
