Shinkodo's hammered copper kettle is made in Japan and designed for use on induction (IH) cooktops. Copper has very high thermal conductivity, about twice that of aluminum and about 25 times that of stainless steel, so heat spreads evenly across the kettle while it is used.
Because heat distributes evenly, there is less chance of uneven heating or scorching, and the kettle can be used on medium heat, which also helps save energy.
This kettle is available in two sizes.
