Shinkodo Hammered Copper Kettle 2.3L Wood Handle

This hammered copper kettle has a wood handle and a mirror-polished finish, and is made in Japan for use on induction (IH) cooktops. Copper has very high thermal conductivity, about twice that of aluminum and about 25 times that of stainless steel, so heat spreads evenly across the kettle while it is used.

Because heat distributes evenly, there is less chance of uneven heating or scorching, and the kettle can be used on medium heat, which also saves energy. It has a 2.3 L (2.4 qt) capacity and weighs 680 g (24 oz).
