This beer mug from Shinkodo is made of pure copper using the tsuiki hand-hammering technique practiced by artisans in the Tsubame-Sanjo region of Niigata. Each mug is individually colored and polished by hand, so the finish varies slightly from piece to piece, making every mug one of a kind.

Copper conducts heat quickly, so a cold drink poured into this mug stays cold, which makes it well suited for beer or other chilled beverages. The combination of function and craftsmanship also makes it a good gift.

The mug is available in capacities of 285 ml (9.6 fl oz), 340 ml (11.5 fl oz), or 460 ml (15.6 fl oz), and is made in Japan.
