Shokuraku Kobo Pure Copper Kyusu Teapot with Strainer

This pure copper kyusu teapot has a built-in strainer and a mirror-polished finish, bringing a Japanese touch to black tea or green tea.

Copper releases trace amounts of copper ions into the water, which help break down the chlorine compounds that can cause an off taste. Copper also conducts heat well, which speeds up brewing and helps bring out a sweeter, more fragrant tea with less bitterness.
