This oil filter pot is designed for straining used cooking oil so it can be reused, combining activated carbon with an acid value suppressant. Filtering removes discoloration and clears up cloudiness in used oil, letting you reuse it instead of throwing it away, which reduces the amount of waste oil generated.
The filter media is made from natural materials, pulp, rayon, activated carbon, and magnesium silicate, rather than synthetic resin. The body is steel with a fluorine (nonstick) coating, and the pot is designed to work with replacement filters made by Takagi Metal.
Made in Japan. Available in three sizes: 0.5 L, 0.55 L, and 1.0 L.
