This range guard from Takagi Metal is made in Japan and helps shield the area around a gas range from splashes, boil-over spills, and oil splatter while cooking.
The steel panels have a fluororesin coating, so grease and other residue wipe off easily, making cleanup simple and letting the guard be reused again and again.
Keeping the stovetop free of oil buildup also helps lower the risk of fires caused by low-temperature ignition near the burner.
This guard is available in two types: a 3-sided version that covers three sides of the range, and an L-shaped version that covers two sides.
