This protective mat from Takagi Metal is designed to shield the glass top of an induction (IH) cooktop from scratches and stains. It is heat resistant, can be washed with water, and works with all-metal type and light sensor type IH units.

Do not use it for deep frying, and never run the cooktop empty underneath it, taking care to avoid scorching. This mat is intended for induction (IH) cooktops only, not for radiant, halogen, or sheathed heating elements.
