This protective mat is made for induction (IH) cooktops, shielding the glass top from scratches and stains during cooking. It is made of glass fiber and silicone for heat resistance and can be rinsed clean with water.

The mat is designed to work with all-metal cookware and does not block the cooktop's light sensor. It is made for induction cooktops only and should not be used on radiant, halogen, or sheathed heating elements.

Do not use this mat for frying, and never leave the cooktop running with an empty pot on it, as dry heating can scorch the mat. It measures about 22 x 22 x 0.1 cm (8.7 x 8.7 in) and weighs 25 g (0.9 oz).
