This aluminum alloy tray is made for thawing frozen food. Simply place meat, vegetables, or frozen cooked rice on the tray to defrost it, and moisture released during thawing drains into grooves on the surface so the food is not sitting in liquid.
Beyond defrosting, the tray can also be used for cooking in a grill or toaster oven. It measures 28.3 x 20.8 x 2.6 cm (11.1 x 8.2 x 1 in) with an interior depth of about 2.1 cm (0.8 in), and weighs 281 g (9.9 oz). Made in Japan.
