Tamahashi Pure Copper Sake Cup (Guinomi) Silver

This sake cup (guinomi) has a silver-tone finish and is made from pure copper, a metal known for its excellent heat conductivity. Pour a cold drink in and the coolness comes through quickly, helping the drink stay cold while you enjoy it. The inside of the cup is tin-plated, which smooths out the sharper notes in sake and gives it a rounder, more mellow taste.

The cup is made in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, and carries the "Made in Tsubame" logo mark. It measures about 5.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm (2.2 x 2.2 x 1.8 in), weighs about 70 g (2.5 oz / 0.15 lb), and holds about 90 ml (3 fl oz).
