This hot sandwich maker from Tamahashi makes a toasted, pressed sandwich right on your stovetop. Simply place your ingredients between two slices of bread, set them inside the hinged aluminum alloy plates, and press the two halves together before cooking.
The body is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, so it is easy to bring along on camping trips or other outdoor outings. The cooking surface has a fluororesin coating for easy cleanup, and the two plates can be separated from each other for simple rinsing and storage.
The cooking surface measures about 135 x 140 mm (5.3 x 5.5 in).
