Tanabe All Stainless Steel Yakiniku Tongs 280mm 2051

These all stainless steel yakiniku tongs from Tanabe Kanagu measure 280 mm (11 in) in length and are made from 2.0 mm (0.1 in) thick stainless steel, weighing about 100 g (3.5 oz / 0.22 lb). The spring section uses a special, patented process that gives the tongs strong elasticity and a light, easy grip.

The tongs use a one piece design for better safety and hygiene: there are no small parts that can fall off into food while cooking, and because there is no seam, water and residue do not collect, so the tongs stay clean and easy to care for.

The tips curve from the inside toward the outside so meat does not slip away from sauce, and the narrowed tip makes it easy to pick up small or thinly sliced ingredients such as cut vegetables. The jagged head grips meat firmly, and a head up stand keeps the tip from touching the table, helping to keep the table clean.
