This hammered copper coffee dripper has a ribbed interior and is made for hand drip brewing, where blooming the coffee grounds well at the start is the key step. Copper's high thermal conductivity lets the dripper reach the right extraction temperature quickly, which helps the grounds bloom evenly.
Because the copper body holds heat well, the water stays hot through the series of pours that hand drip brewing calls for, supporting a clean cup with a refined taste and no off flavors.
The body is pure copper with a tin plated interior and a baked clear coat exterior, paired with a brass handle and a hammered finish. It is made in Japan by Tanabe Kanagu.
This dripper is offered in two sizes: a small size suited to brewing for 1 to 2 people, and a large size suited to brewing for 2 to 3 people.
