These tongs from Tanabe Kanagu are an all purpose kitchen tool for frying, sauteing, plating, and serving everyday home cooked dishes, and they are also handy for commercial use in kitchens or deli counters.
The body is stainless steel with a handle made of 66 nylon and glass fiber resin. A patented hinge design keeps the handle opening compact, so the tongs are easy to grip and release for women and children, and they resist losing their shape. The spring section is specially processed for strong elasticity, giving a comfortable hold that will not tire your hand during long use.
The tips are made of nylon, so unlike all stainless steel tongs they will not scratch nonstick coated griddles, hot plates, or pots, and they are heat resistant up to 240 degrees Celsius (464 degrees Fahrenheit), suitable for most home cooking. The one piece, fitting free design keeps the tip from coming loose and leaves no gaps, making the tongs easy to clean, and they are dishwasher safe.
They suit salads, bread, pasta, and fried foods, and are made in Japan. These tongs are offered in Mini and Medium sizes, and in Black, Orange, Red, Yellow, and Earth Gray colors.
