These tongs from Tanabe Kanagu are an all purpose kitchen tool for frying, stir frying, plating, and serving, and they work equally well in home kitchens, commercial kitchens, and deli counters. A patented handle design keeps the grip opening compact, so the tongs are easy to open and close even for women and children, and a specially processed spring gives a firm yet comfortable hold that will not tire the hand during long use.
The tips are made of nylon, so unlike all stainless steel tongs they will not scratch nonstick coated griddles, hot plates, or pots, and they are heat resistant up to 240 degrees Celsius (464 degrees Fahrenheit).
The tongs are molded in one piece with no metal fasteners, so the tip cannot come loose and there are no gaps to trap food, which makes them easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe and suit salads, bread, pasta, and fried foods. Made in Japan.
